WITH SPCA OF BRADLEY COUNTY
THE ADOPTION PROCESS
Step 1
The potential adopter can send a message through the site asking about the animal’s availability as well as completing an online application page.
Step 2
Once that application page is reviewed by staff, the potential adopter is contacted and an appointment is made to come in and meet the animal in a session that we refer to as “meet and greet.”
Step 3
This session allows the potential adopter to be certain that this animal will integrate into the adopter’s home situation. If all goes well, the potential adapter completes the adoption, contract and fees, and adopts the animal.

BECOME A FOSTER!
Foster parents offer a warm, safe environment for animals in need. The greatest chance of success for these animals is immediate human interaction and loving care. Some animals need a special kind of care that can't always be provided in a shelter environment.

That's where you come in.

While in foster care, the SPCA provides any supplies you might need such as food, formula, bedding, crate, etc. and also provides all vaccines, dewormers, and any needed vet care. You can email our foster coordinator at: bspcafoster@gmail.com
VOLUNTEER WITH US!
Become a volunteer at the SPCA of Bradley County! Volunteers help with animal care, cleaning, answering phone calls, taking photos, and so much more.
Our volunteers are instrumental with socializing animals, assisting with animal caretaking, counseling prospective pet adopters, social media management and participating in special fundraising and adoption events. Their special skills and talents make a positive difference in the lives of shelter animals.
