Apollo is 4 years old and is the kind of dog who forms deep, meaningful bonds with the people he trusts. While he can be a little shy when meeting new people, his gentle personality shines through once he feels comfortable. With patience, understanding, and a little time, Apollo blossoms into a loyal, affectionate companion.
Apollo is selective about his four-legged friends, and that’s perfectly okay—it simply means he’s particular about who he shares his space with. Because of this, he would do best in a home without small breed dogs or cats. If you already have a medium to large sized dog, we encourage a meet and greet to make sure everyone gets along.
A calm, predictable home is where Apollo will truly thrive. He prefers to take life at his own pace and would do best with older children who understand and respect his boundaries. A home without small children will help him feel safe and secure.
Apollo enjoys staying active and will need positive outlets for his energy. Long walks, exploring new places, and spending time outdoors are some of his favorite things, and a securely fenced yard would be a dream come true.
Our staff who knows Apollo best describe him as a sweet, inquisitive boy with so much love to give. He absolutely adores hard chew toys, loves going for car rides, and never turns down a good belly rub. His curious nature means he’s always excited to experience something new, especially when he has someone he trusts by his side.
